Plexi scraper for scraping off glide wax
A liquid spray-on training wax that can be used alone or as an underlayer for racing waxes. CH08XL is an extremely versatile wax on both sides of the freezing point with exceptional feedback from racing. It performs in older snow below freezing, new falling snow above freezing and everything in between. Basically a must-have in conditions you will meet often.
Oval horsehair brush to use on the final brushing post waxing of your skis.
Great together with SWIX glide wax cleaner!
The HS series are great gliders for training and competition with very good glide properties. Available in the following temperature ranges: HS5 Turquoise (-10°C/-18°C) HS6 Blue (-6°C/-12°C) HS7 Violet (-2°C/-8°C) HS8 Red (-4°C/+4°C) HS10 Yellow (0°C/+10°C)
Rectangular horsehair brush to use on the final brushing post waxing of your skis.
SWIX Skin Care is developed to protect integrated skins from icing and to improve the glide properties. The risk of icing is in particular present around zero when the snow is changing from wet to dry. In these conditions the Skin Care works as an impregnation preventing the ice from building up. The skin’s glide properties is improved in all conditions as the Skin Care reduces the friction between the skin and the snow. To be used before skiing: Spray Skin Care on the skin. Rub in gently using paper in a tip to tail direction. Includes a roll of fiberlene to use with the skin care.
Great economy iron which is competitive with far more expensive models. Redesigned from scratch with an ergonomic body and a wide metal plate that suits both alpine, snowboard and nordic. Angled at one side to make it easier to keep a constant speed when melting the wax. The thick metal plate ensures a stable heating. Plate dimension 100x160 mm.
New fallen snow 0°C (32°F). Old fine grained snow -1°C to -3°C (30°F to 27°F). For many years a secret weapon in the wax-box of World Cup Servicemen. To be used when the snow is in a stage going from cold to wet, around freezing (32°F). The V-Line of hard kick-waxes is made for racing and recreational skiing. Their quality is very high due to fully refined petroleum waxes, synthetic rubbers and pharmaceutical quality oils.
To be used as first layer for all hard waxes in new fallen snow, transformed fine grained snow and old snow from +1°C to -20°C (30°F to -4°F). Rub on and iron in with a waxing iron (110°C/230°F). Cork smooth. Base wax is much easier to apply when it is cold. Store it in the fridge or in the snow before application.
A durable basewax for all hard waxes in colder conditions than -1°C (30°F). To be used when the snow has been transformed (granular) and the wear on the wax is high. Rub on and iron in with a waxing iron (110°C/230°F). Cork smooth. Base wax is much easier to apply when it is cold. Store it in the fridge or in the snow before application.
The VR hard kick-waxes are fluorinated and made for top racing, but have also proved interesting for recreational and sport skiers because of excellent properties. Available in the following temperature ranges: VR30 LIGHT BLUE -7ºC TO -30ºC VR40 BLUE -2ºC TO -12ºC VR45 FLEXI LIGHT VIOLET 0ºC TO -8ºC VR60 SILVER 2ºC TO -2ºC VR62 RED BLACK 0/+3C VR65 RED YELLOW SILVER 3ºC TO -1ºC
A Rex specialty that is used underneath hot waxes when preparing new or ground skis. One treatment with Base Oil equals 2-3 treatments with Base Paraffin. Prevents the base from turning to gray. The new 2.0 version contains new raw materials from our R&D department. Creates a hydrophobic emulsion with gliders and helps the ski base to repel more water and dirt. If you are planning on using only liquid glide waxes and not hot waxes, use Rex Glide Cleaner for preparation instead.
Rex's well-known and trusted basic grip wax line contains some classics, which have been in production for over 50 years!
