Saturday June 12th
On Saturday June 12, the official opening of the Jim Miller Memorial will take place at noon.  The newly erected pavilion is located at the top of Finn Hill.  Following the ceremony, there will be a social Memorial Bicycle Ride along the Finn Hill portion of the Hub Trail and on to the West Korah Cemetery where Jim is buried.  The pace will be casual and everyone is welcome to attend.  An optional ride to Gros Cap followed by a post ride stop at Boot and Saddles Bar and Grill will take place.

Jim was a long time director of the Sault Cycling Club,  founding member and chair of the Sault Trail Action Committee.  Jim was instrumental in the creation of the HUB trail  and will be remembered for his humour, as a first class gentleman, visionary, leader and, as he often said, his "ability to herd cats".  Jim died two years ago while on a hiking trip in Lake Superior Provincial Park.

We encourage as many club members as possible to attend this ride to remember and honour all the hard work Jim has done for cyclists in our community.  Please wear a club jersey if you have one and bring one flower to place on the grave.

As these young people develop their skills, they become eligible to train others, thus further enhancing their development and the development of others.
